As most of you have heard by now, we lost a CHP officer this morning on the 15 Fwy out in Barstow/Victorville Area. That is our 3rd officer to be killed in the line of duty in 3 weeks. Needless to say, this has got to stop.
Sunday evening confirmation came that another CHP Officer had been hit and has now died of his injuries. I don't have any information about the officer except he is out of the Templeton CHP Office just south of San Luis Obispo. It is almost a 4 hour drive from here and Alex has just left our home for the office to pick up a unit, 9:30 pm. We have another Peer Member responding from WLA and they will meet up in Templeton.
Please, please agree with me/us in prayer for traveling mercies for them and anyone else responding, for the families of the officers that were killed today and this month. We want this to stop and stop now! Our troops are being stretched so thin. We also pray for the areas that have had the loss that the team will be received openly and they will be allowed to minister to those in need.
